    3. Unlock Mapsource yields error: "Map products not found". Is information technology possible that I have to tell information technology where things are installed? If so, how?
      Unlock mapset runs, only maps are still locked. Information technology seems information technology is not finding the map product to unlock them. I did NOT install mapsource on default c:\garmin .... is this a potential event?

      My device is actually the Nuvi 2599 LMT-D and the map is City Navigator Southern Africa NT 2016.xx.

      I already tried exactely what y'all said, in the Garmin it still says "Map tin can't be unlocked" and "Map appears to be damaged". On my old Nuvi 250 it seems to work fine.

      I couldn't go the .gmap binder to show in Mapsource, so I downloaded your unlocked IMG from here:

      I unlocked it with gimgunlock.exe and used ImgTool to modify all to CP 1252. However all the codes were already at 1252, and then I do non think that helped.

    1. I tried it again, this time I used succeeded in creating an IMG file with Mapsource. I unlocked it with gimgunlock and changed the codes with ImgTool, but I however get the same mistake unfortunately :(

  • Hi, I've downloaded:

    CityNavigator Due south America NT 2016.xx

    Then, I've loaded this folder in:

    C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps\City Navigator South America NT 2016.20.gmap

    Then, I've used the unlock maps tool into the same folder...

    Afterwards that I've used basecamp to select the maps and load the maps into the Garmin nuvi 57lm.

    I don't know were I 've to paste the file D3568150A.JCV. I don't take any folder called JCV.

  • i dont know if your device suppprtet junction view. look in device for .system (dot organisation) binder. in this jcv folder - if suppportet.

    if not supportet you dont need this file

  • 3d file is for 3d building view. if your device supported so you have in .system folder a original 3 d file. copy and past if suppprtet.

    3917_gmap3dUL.rar
    3917_gmapUL.part1.rar
    3917_gmapUL.part2.rar
    3917_gmapUL.part3.rar

    2.- Move the folder:

    City Navigator South America NT 2016.20.gmap

    to

    C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps\City Navigator South America NT 2016.20.gmap

    3.- Decompress UnlookTool

    copy Unlooktool into:

    C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps\City Navigator S America NT 2016.20.gmap

    And so Run the unlooktool and worked for all the maps.

    It was completed successfully.

    4.- Configure the Device for mass storage

    v.- Copy D3568150A.JCV to

    Due east:\.System\JCV\ D3568150A.JCV <--- File.

    half dozen.- Open basecamp and so click in Maps (Southward america map is selected)

    And then install maps on nuvi 57 :

    I can see the post-obit:

    The post-obit maps will fit on your nüvi 57 (Unit ID 389XXXXXXX).

    City Navigator North America NT 2016.2
    City Navigator South America NT 2016.2

    I've selected customize then i just selected : City Navigator South America NT 2016.ii

    Then continue and install.

    The copy cease successfully.,

    And so I've asunder the device from the computer and....

    7.- I've powered on the device..

    Agree the terms..
    accept the communication..

    Then.. Incommunicable to unlock maps

    Maps are damaged .... blablabla..

    What am doing wrong?

  • Hello Ozboss and guys.. I've fixed my trouble... Afterwards reviewing a lot of forums and pages I've found that my device had a potent firmware protection and cannot use unlocked maps.
    To solve this problem I've look for the following into google "Universal Firmware Patcher for Protected Garmin Devices". I've followed some steps and now I'chiliad able to install any map from here.

    Diese Datei City "Navigator Russian federation NT 2016.xxx" gibt mir nach entpacken D3305180A.JCV heraus. Nun kann ich in Mapssourge damit nichts anfangen.
    Zumal JCV die Kreuzungsansicht ist. Ist jetzt mein Mapsourge veraltet oder finde ich keine gmapprom Russia.

    1. in download Container are ten files - ane of them are he jcv file - the other are the gmap folder - pc binder for mapsource and basecamp
      mapsource never deceit read img files - merely basecamp do it
      load and unpack gmap files so you have pc version and so transfer to device

    Many thank you for pulling the maps together and I am using your content for finding my way out across the globe and no thank you is plenty for you for me to be able to safely drive my family back home every time nosotros are on a trip. Recently I accept observed a problem in my Garmin Nuvi2567LM. The device seems to be complaining on the UNICODE versions of latest releases of Europe. Would it possible for y'all to upload the non UNICODE version for Europe CN NT 2007.10

  • Hallo, ich versuche das erste mal eine Karte hinzuzufügen und habe Probleme dabei. Vorweg mein Navi ist das nüvi2460 und ich versuche die Nordamerika Karte auf eine SD-Karte zu laden.
    Ich habe die Datei: City Navigator North America NT 2017.20 heruntergeladen und entpackt.
    Nun gibt es einen Ordner "4035_jvc" mit drei .jvc Dateien, ein Ordner "City Navigator North America NT 2017.20.gmap" mit sehr vielen Unterordnern und Dateien und die Datei "gmap3d.img".
    Vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen. Was muss ich jetzt tun?

    1. the gmap folder is the map binder - read mail service before and yous know how to install. after this you can create own prototype (with basecamp or mapsource) and transfer to device.
      the jcv files are junction view - yous need just ane - this must copy in JCV folder on device nether \.System\JCV (the dot ist correct)
      and the 3d file is for view 3d edifice - zhis file must re-create in garmin folder on device if your device supported this characteristic

    1. mapsource is out - support frequently Garmin ends in 2010. apply basecamp as mapping programme.
      and a lot of my maps are in gmap Format - example the citynavigator Maps.

  • How-do-you-do, I would like to ask for a bit of help. I downloaded both .rar files for City Navigator North Africa NT 2016.x. - the main img file and the 3D view img file, merely there is no Metropolis Navigator North Africa NT 2016.10.gmap folder, just these ii files.

    And so I manually created C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps\City Navigator North Africa NT 2016.10.gmap binder and copied the ii files inside.

    Then I tried to unlock them with different tools - GarminUnlocker.exe crashes, other tools say it'south already unlocked.

    Ok, so i open Basecamp but it doesn't discover this Northward Africa map. If I go to Maps > Install Maps, it says 'No unlocked maps were found for this device.'

    If I copy the 2 img files manually to garmin .Organization folder, basecamp finds them on the device, just when I turn on garmin device N Africa map is not listed there.

    And then, what can I do? I would capeesh whatever assist.

    1. epitome are paradigm and gmap are gmap.
      if you want use a img in basecamp so use a USB stick, create a folder named Garmin and re-create img file inside. connect USB stick with PC and get-go basecamp. the img will read in and at present yous can use this map.
      yous tin can too create a virtual drive.

    3. prototype files whos read in by USB stick for using in basecamp can't transfer with mapinstall. if you want utilise this img in device copy file to Garmin folder on device. zip more than to do - thats all.
      if your device have the New Garmin protect so you must patch fw. how it works so look for universal Firmware patcher on web.

    I downloaded the CN Europe 2017.20 and copied the gmap folder to the "Maps" folder of Basecamp and the "Mapinstall" folder of Mapsource.Now Basecamp shows the map simply deceit select parts of map to brand custommap to upload to device.In mapsource the map doesn't bear witness at all.
    Please advice

  • Nachdem kompletten Download "CityNavigator Europe NT 2018.ten" wird beim Entpacken mit WinRar und auch mit WinZIP ein Fehler in Part 06 gemeldet.
    Der DL ist damit nicht zu nutzen.
    Bitte um eine Reload von "CityNavigator Europe NT 2018.10"

    I'm looking for some help, my BaseCamp stopped generating/transferiong maps. I choose device, maps, adjacent, nex... so information technology says 'No map was transferred sucessfully.'
    And no reason, or other error message...

    Tried to dl 7677_gmapUPpart01.rar again, same aforementioned

    How to solve?
